"BANGGG!" and there on the next lane was 2 guys and a motorbike on the ground. it happened so fast that i tot it was the car behind me that banged onto me. i didnt even realised that there was a motorbike nearby. my first reaction to the accident was... "SHIT LAH!!" and then i pulled over to the road shoulder...

Q: so, what exactly happened here??
A: seriously, i was left in a shocked mode to even ask the riders what happened on scene! but all i can gather from him (in bits and pieces) in the police station was that he was looking out for a lorry on the next lane and trying to avoid it, but he didnt realise my car was there.

Q: what did we do after making the police report?
A: we made a report (again!!) to the motor insurance, and brought the car into the workshop only to find out that they do not do third party claims on foreign insurance company (they KS lah!). so dear hubby called our own insurance agent and asked what we can do next... the advice was to claim the repair under "Own Damage" and then the insurance company will seek third party claim from the malaysian insurance company... but no guarantees lah. sigh... hopefully they will be able to make the claim, if not we will have to pay more for insurance premium next year. we realise that since this is the only thing we can do, we might as well send the car to Cycle and Carriage workshop as our car is still under warranty.

after leaving the first workshop, we sent his boss' car back, and then went home to get the insurance certificate, and then drove off to Mitsubishi Cycle and Carriage's workshop to do the necessary paper work and left the car there. the repair will take about 10 days. so in the meantime, we will be car-less! by the time we settle all these, it was about 1pm already! half day gone!

Q: what's next?
A: he called his dad to check out where he is... thankfully he is nearby. so his dad came to pick us up from Mitsubishi showroom and then we went to my gynae's clinic for a check up.

Q: and how's the little one doing?
A: she's unhurt from the trauma, thank God! somehow i thought i felt abit of contractions when we were on the way to the clinic... but the gynae said she's still not ready to come out yet. we'll give her another 3 to 5 weeks to say HELLO to all the world.\

ok, end of account!

Week 32/40... 5 more weeks to full term, 8 more weeks to EDD

into the eighth month... and eight more weeks to go!

its all about the number eight. the 8th month... 8 more weeks... 20th of August (the 8th month of the year) 2008!

sorry folks, no interesting pictures of baby scans and pregnant mummy this time. last nite i went for appointment with the gynae, but somehow it slipped my mind to beg Dr Ang for a picture of the scan. oh well, i think now the baby's head is too big to even fully fit into the whole screen! hehe...

baby girl is weighing about 1.7kg now. baby is definitely gaining weight, but mummy is not really gaining a lot of weight! wooohooo! if you ask how much weight i had gained throughout the 7 months pregnancy........ i've just did some calculations, and it came out to be a grand total of 6.2kg gained! it is definitely not much for 7 months pregnancy eh? oh well, i shouldn't be bothered about it as long as my girl's growing up well.

her activities in the womb has decreased as the space of the womb is quite limited for her to do her acrobatics. somehow her movements are feeling really funny! they become slower, much more intense when she shift from one side to another, and she is also constantly playing punching bag (or kungfu kicking) in the womb. sometimes feel her shivering (but i'm not quite sure if she is really shivering) too. now i am waiting for her to make an imprint of her little foot on my tummy... wonder if that is really going to happen. we shall see!

talking about movements... there's gonna be a big movement at work as well. one of my colleague had resigned to move on to a greener pasture, and another will resign soon to do his PhD. so from 4 Project Officers down to TWO in a few weeks time! not sure if the bosses are going to get new people in. in the worse case scenario, both the remainder Project Officers will really be very overloaded with work if there will not be new Officers. well, i'll have to learn how NOT to rush my tasks and work, given my current situation. hopefully the bosses will understand!

that's all folks...till the next gynae appointment...

Week 28/40... and i'm not very sure when it started, but i had been hit a few times with some terrible, and some not-too-terrible leg cramps in the middle of the night during these weeks. baby became really active inside the tummy. her kicks are much harder, so much so to the extent that i can see my round tummy jerking when she kicks. and she started to have hiccups too.

23, 24, 25, 26 and 27th weeks

Week 24/40

i'm already starting to feel my girl's activities in the tummy. she is very active in the day time during office hours. and at night she doesn't move much. probably following mummy's sleeping time. but sometimes she will be very active at night when i lie down on the bed and trying to call it a day. and when that happens, i'll play the lullaby CD which i bought earlier. that will not only make me sleep, i'm sure it makes the little princess sleep too!

we've been shopping around quite a fair bit lately to look at prams, car seats, high chair etc... baby's needs and necessities, coz since i'm in my "honeymoon trimester" and that my energy level is still quite high. we had also furnished up the nursary. and it looks something like this:

don't ask me why there is a combination of girlie pink and boyish blue. i'll just say this is a very confused baby!
